A Well Maintained Instrument

This instrument was privately owned by a diligent owner who took very good care of it.  She recently reconditioned the action with new parts, including hammers, shanks, and flanges.  We found the piano to have tremendous amount of musical character, with a lovely warm and rich quality.

About the Steinway Model M (from the manufacturer)

At 5'7" (170cm) in length, this piano's rich tone and responsive action is found not only in a great many homes, but in many schools of music and conservatories as well. Called the "Medium" grand, there is nothing medium about the sound from this instrument.

Condition notes

Some action parts (hammers, shanks, and flanges) were recently replaced. The remainder of the piano is in original condition with some cosmetic wear commensurate with age.
