Always wanted a beautiful baby grand for your home but can't give up the space for a larger piano? This handsome Story & Clark 5' baby grand piano could be for you! Purchased new in the 2000s, this instrument is ready for a new home.
Asian pianos feature high-polished ebony finishes almost exclusively - it's extremely rare that we come across one in this attractive Polished Mahogany finish. It's a great choice for more classic interiors and rooms where a polished black piano would be inappropriate. It's a fantastic musical instrument in a package that is very aesthetically appealing.
Founded in 1857 by Melville Clark, Story & Clark is one of America's oldest surviving piano brands. The brand has been owned by QRS Music Technologies of Seneca, Pennsylvania, since 1993.
In the 2000s, Story & Clark pianos were manufactured by the Dongbei Piano Group of Liaonin, China, using elements of the original American designs. Dongbei established a reputation of producing high quality instruments for export to the United States under a number of brands, and were acquired by Baldwin in the late 2000s. They are often considered to be the among the most well-built affordable pianos of their time.
While this instrument is in very good overall cosmetic condition, there is a very minor cosmetic imperfection on the right side of the fallboard (key cover), likely noticeable only in that it alters how light is reflected in the area of the imperfection.
