How large is this piano?
All grand pianos have virtually identical Width and Height. Length is the only dimension that varies dramatically from one grand piano to the next.

Why is Length important? Longer pianos allow for longer strings and greater soundboard surface area, so they usually produce more sound than smaller pianos, but they naturally occupy more space.

This Kawai RX-2 5'10'' grand piano was built in 1997; purchased new and privately owned here in New England. It's a great opportunity to own a a highly desirable, late-model Kawai grand for a fraction of the cost of the comparable new instrument.

Japanese pianos feature traditional high-polished ebony cabinets almost exclusively - this instrument's French Mahogany Polish cabinet is an extremely rare find in a modern high-performance Japan-built piano. Featuring attractive and elegant French-styled legs, pedal lyre, and matching bench, it's a fantastic musical instrument in a package that is very aesthetically appealing.

Founded in 1927 by Japan's first piano-maker Koichi Kawai, Kawai Musical Instruments is widely regarded within the piano community as one of the world's finest production piano builders.
