This Yamaha Disklavier DC2A 5'8'' player grand piano was built in 2000 and was privately owned. It has been upgraded with the Yamaha DKC-850 player control unit (a $1595 value), giving it much of the functionality of the much younger Disklavier E3 models.
It will be a tremendous instrument for a variety of settings: Great for the home, studio, school, business, or performance space. Gorgeous high-polished ebony cabinet.
C2's are known for having a remarkably big tone for their size, and this C2 is no exception. It has the tonal clarity you always expect from Yamaha, but with an added depth, richness, and power that only a C-series piano can provide. When you add Yamaha's expressive and responsive action it's a tremendously fun piano to play. If you're looking for big piano sound but can't commit the space for a big piano, this will be a great choice for you!

The Yamaha DKC-850 upgrade allows you to enjoy the latest in player piano functionality, bringing you many of the unique features of the Disklavier E3 system.
The DKC-850 comes with 128MB of internal memory that allows you to record and play back your own performances with ease. It's also compatible with USB memory, so you transport your data easily.
Connect to the Internet and enjoy “DisklavierRadio,” which lets you listen to songs from a diverse range of genres, or use the video synchronization function to record the sights and sounds of those treasured family moments. These all-new functions make your piano an even more important part of your life.
Yamaha Silent System technology lets you instantly cancel the acoustic piano sound and switch to digital piano tone generation. This means that you can play or listen in Quiet Mode through the built-in speakers, or in Silent mode via the privacy of headphones, letting you enjoy the Disklavier at any time by selecting a sound level suitable to the time of day and the activities of those around you.
By eliminating the sound of the acoustic piano, this feature also lets you play internal orchestral voices independently – ideal for multi-track recording or use as a MIDI controller. And in digital mode, you can easily tune the piano to match the pitch of other instruments or recordings.
Stereo sampled from the Yamaha concert grand, the digital piano tones are virtually indistinguishable from the original, while a special dual-mode action mechanism maintains traditional keyboard touch and response. Variable reverb effects can simulate the acoustics of various playing environments, and dual headphone jacks let you share a private performance with another, if you like.
