This Yamaha Disklavier 5'3" baby grand player piano, model DG1, was built in Japan in 1990. It has been privately owned and well cared for. It will be a joy to own and play in every way.
Yamaha pianos feature ebony finishes almost exclusively - it's extremely rare that we come across one in this attractive polished white finish. It's a great choice for more classic interiors and rooms where a black piano would be inappropriate. It's a fantastic musical instrument in a package that is very aesthetically appealing.
Over the years, the Yamaha G and C series became very similar in design. By the 1990s the design of the G1 so closely resembled the larger C-series grands that Yamaha decided to simplify their product lines by renaming the G1, making it the new model C1. In most respects, this 1990s G1 differs from the much more expensive C1 in name only; it makes this piano a tremendous value.
