How large is this piano?
All grand pianos have virtually identical Width and Height. Length is the only dimension that varies dramatically from one grand piano to the next.

Special Centennial Edition
Originally crafted in New York in 1953, this Model S was part of a special limited edition produced to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the founding of Steinway & Sons. A special anniversary medallion placed on the fallboard was created specifically for these limited-edition instruments.
Previously restored in the early 2000s
The previous owner of this piano commissioned an extensive restoration of it in the early 2000s, resulting in an instrument that is truly enjoyable to play. Restoration work included the following:
- New pinblock
- New strings and tuning pins
- Re-gilt harp with hand-stenciled lettering
- Original Steinway soundboard completely restored and refinished
- Fully restored action, including new wippens, hammers, shanks, and flanges
- New keytops
- Traditional cabinet fully refinished in ebony satin
- New Steinway & Sons contemporary fallboard decal applied
