How large is this piano?
All grand pianos have virtually identical Width and Height. Length is the only dimension that varies dramatically from one grand piano to the next.
Why is Length important? Longer pianos allow for longer strings and greater soundboard surface area, so they usually produce more sound than smaller pianos, but they naturally occupy more space.
What size should I buy? Most industry professionals recommend choosing the longest piano that your space can comfortably accommodate.

- All-new action, including wippens, hammer shanks, flanges, and historically correct Renner hammers. Carefully voiced and regulated by a master Registered Piano Technician.
- Traditional cabinet fully refinished in a handsome hand-rubbed custom white finish.
- New Steinway contemporary fallboard logo applied
- Restored and refinished original Steinway soundboard
- Re-gilt harp and all hardware
- New keytops and keyfronts

At 5'7" (170cm) in length, this piano's rich tone and responsive action is found not only in a great many homes, but in many schools of music and conservatories as well. Called the "Medium" grand, there is nothing medium about the sound from this instrument.
