A breathtaking restored Steinway A!
This restored Steinway A-II, originally crafted in New York in 1896, is a visual and musical masterpiece. It features a stunning Victorian cabinet in handsome hand-rubbed ebony satin. The fully rebuilt and refinished interior gleams.
Being diligently restored in 2024.
This piano was owned by a Registered Piano Technician and Steinway specialist in our local area, who oversaw a complete restoration of the instrument in 2024. Restoration work included the following:
- New pinblock
- New strings and tuning pins
- Re-gilt harp with hand-stenciled lettering
- Hardware and pedals re-plated
- New soundboard
- New bridges
- All-new action, including wippens, hammers, shanks, and flanges, custom-sized to the original factory specifications, carefully voiced and regulated by a master technician and Steinway specialist
- Victorian cabinet fully restored and refinished in hand-rubbed ebony satin.
