An affordable grand piano and furniture piece!

Always wanted a beautiful baby grand for your home but can't give up the space for a larger piano?  This handsome Hallet Davis 5'5'' baby grand piano could be for you!  Purchased new in the 2000s, this instrument was previously owned by a diligent private owner who took very good care of it.  Plays evenly and consistently with a pleasing tone.  Beautiful cosmetic condition with a clean and bright interior.

Rare satin ebony finish.

Asian pianos feature high-polish finishes almost exclusively - it's extremely rare that we come across one in a satin ebony finish.  It's a great choice for more classic interiors and rooms where a high-polished piano would be inappropriate.  It's a fantastic musical instrument in a package that is very aesthetically appealing.

About Hallet Davis Pianos

The Hallet, Davis & Co. brand traces its origins to the year 1835. It was among the oldest of the historic Boston piano companies. Many world-famous pianists have chosen Hallet, Davis & Co. as their favorite piano. The world-renowned composer Franz Liszt played on one at the great Paris exposition in 1867.

After some years of inactivity, the Hallet Davis brand was reintroduced in the 1990s, with pianos sourced from manufacturers in Asia.  In the 2000s, Hallet Davis pianos were manufactured by the Dongbei Piano Group of Liaonin, China, using elements of the original American designs.  Dongbei established a reputation of producing high quality instruments for export to the United States under a number of brands, and were acquired by Baldwin in the late 2000s.  They are often considered to be the among the most well-built affordable pianos of their time.
