We've just refreshed the interior of this instrument with a new set of strings, and as a result it has a phenomenal tone - bold, full, and lively, with a tremendous capacity for both power and expression. It's in great playing condition, with an even and consistent action. 

The C6 is the model that competes most closely with the Steinway B, since both are just under 7' in length. Overall the C6 is a great contrast to the Steinway B with its noticeably crisper tone and lighter action than most B's.

Rare satin ebony finish.

Yamaha pianos feature high-polish finishes almost exclusively - it's extremely rare that we come across one in a satin ebony finish.  It's a great choice for more classic interiors and rooms where a high-polished piano would be inappropriate.  It's a fantastic musical instrument in a package that is very aesthetically appealing.
