How large is this piano?
All grand pianos have virtually identical Width and Height. Length is the only dimension that varies dramatically from one grand piano to the next.

Why is Length important? Longer pianos allow for longer strings and greater soundboard surface area, so they usually produce more sound than smaller pianos, but they naturally occupy more space.
What size should I buy? Most industry professionals recommend choosing the longest piano that your space can comfortably accommodate.
An affordable, quality grand with a great tone!
This 5'9'' Young Chang player grand piano was originally manufactured in 1987 and has been privately owned. It's a great opportunity to get a nicely-sized, quality musical instrument at a very affordable price. The included PianoDisc player system unlocks a world of entertainment possibilities - Amaze your friends, family, and guests as your piano plays itself with real moving keys!
Although this video and photos show a player box on the front of the piano, it has been removed and replaced with PianoDisc Prodigy system allowing you use your Apple Iphone of Ipad to control everything.
We were particularly impressed by the tone of this instrument. It is noticeably fuller, richer, and more resonant than many of the other Samick and Young Chang grands we encounter, owing to its 5'9'' cabinet.
This instrument features a lovely satin walnut cabinet in beautiful condition.
The perfect size for the best tone.
Acoustically speaking, grand pianos which are 5'7" to 6'1" in length are almost ideally sized for an even, balanced tone across the entire instrument. Large enough to accommodate bass strings that give the instrument power, volume, and fullness, but not so large that the bass overpowers the treble register. It's optimally sized to give you the smoothest, most even transitions from the very bottom to the top. You're going to love it!

This piano was manufactured in Incheon, South Korea by Young Chang, one of the world's largest and most respected piano manufacturers. Over the last 30 years, Young Chang's Korean facility has established itself as a maker of very high quality pianos which have stood the test of time amazingly well.
