How large is this piano?
All grand pianos have virtually identical Width and Height. Length is the only dimension that varies dramatically from one grand piano to the next.

Why is Length important? Longer pianos allow for longer strings and greater soundboard surface area, so they usually produce more sound than smaller pianos, but they naturally occupy more space.
What size should I buy? Most industry professionals recommend choosing the longest piano that your space can comfortably accommodate.

About the Steinway Model S (from the manufacturer)
At 5'1'' (155 cm), this piano is the smallest of the Steinway grands. This design was introduced in the 1930s to invite the majesty of the Steinway sound into almost any space.

Mahogany varies from golden to deep red-brown in color. May contain attractive figures such as fiddleback, stripe and mottle. Grown in Central and South America.
Condition Notes
Built in 2007, this piano is in excellent original mechanical condition. Some areas of the cabinet exhibit incidental cosmetic lightening due to sun exposure; this is extremely common in wood-finish pianos and should not likely diminish the overall visual presentation in most settings. We've priced this piano extremely affordably with this in mind.
