How large is this piano?
All grand pianos have virtually identical Width and Height. Length is the only dimension that varies dramatically from one grand piano to the next.

Why is Length important? Longer pianos allow for longer strings and greater soundboard surface area, so they usually produce more sound than smaller pianos, but they naturally occupy more space.
What size should I buy? Most industry professionals recommend choosing the longest piano that your space can comfortably accommodate.

This beautiful PianoDisc baby grand piano was manufactured by Young Chang in the mid-1990s and is ready for delivery to your home! Decorator Ribbon Mahogany Cabinet
A highlight of this particular piano is its lovely high-polished ribbon mahogany cabinet which features a number of decorative touches not commonly seen on this model. Note the handsome wood inlays, trim, and molding on the cabinet and legs as well as the ornate pedal lyre.
The perfect size for the best tone.
Acoustically speaking, grand pianos which are 5'7" to 6'1" in length are almost ideally sized for an even, balanced tone across the entire instrument. Large enough to accommodate bass strings that give the instrument power, volume, and fullness, but not so large that the bass overpowers the treble register. It's optimally sized to give you the smoothest, most even transitions from the very bottom to the top. You're going to love it!

Condition notes
Some areas of the cabinet exhibit some modest cosmetic lightening due to sun exposure; this is extremely common in wood-finish pianos and should not likely diminish the overall visual presentation in most settings. We've priced this piano extremely affordably with this in mind.
