How large is this piano?
All grand pianos have virtually identical Width and Height. Length is the only dimension that varies dramatically from one grand piano to the next.

This fully restored Steinway Model A 6' Grand Piano is a prime example of why Steinway continues to be the preeminent name in pianocraft worldwide. Originally crafted in Hamburg, Germany in 1912, this instrument was originally delivered to a private customer in the United Kingdom, who brought it to the United States when they relocated. It is a magnificent piece that will be a welcome addition to any setting, equally suitable for public performance or private enjoyment.
Rare Hamburg Steinway craftsmanship.
Members of the Steinway family opened a factory in Hamburg, Germany in 1880, and it is still in operation today. For much of its history the Hamburg facility has operated more or less independently from the New York factory, and instruments produced there, while bearing many similarities to their New York counterparts, have some notable differences which make them especially rare and sought-after in the Americas.

We've just fully restored this instrument to make it a visual and musical masterpiece for many decades to come. Restoration work included the following:

- New strings and tuning pins
- Re-gilt harp with hand-stenciled lettering
- Brass hardware and pedals restored
- Original Steinway soundboard completely restored and refinished
- Fully restored action, including new wippens, hammers, shanks, and flanges. Custom-sized to the exact original factory specifications, carefully voiced and regulated by a master technician and Steinway specialist.
- Original keytops restored to beautiful condition
- Cabinet fully refinished in high-polished ebony
- New Steinway & Sons contemporary fallboard decal applied
The result is an instrument that is truly enjoyable to play, with a rich, bold, and distinctive musical character.
