How large is this piano?
All grand pianos have virtually identical Width and Height. Length is the only dimension that varies dramatically from one grand piano to the next.

Why is Length important? Longer pianos allow for longer strings and greater soundboard surface area, so they usually produce more sound than smaller pianos, but they naturally occupy more space.

Restored action with traditional cloth bushings.
This instrument features 100% traditional cloth action bushings, thanks to new action parts which were installed in the 1990s at the advisement of the prior owner's Steinway technician. Action restoration included the following:
- Genuine Steinway hammers
- Genuine Renner wippens, shanks, and flanges built to the exact original geometric specifications of the original parts
Rich and robust tone.
The touch is even and responsive, just like one would expect of a Steinway of such recent vintage. The tone has the richness and complexity that we typically expect of Steinways, with a nice robust quality that isn't always encountered in under-6' grands. It is a very worthy musical instrument.
