This Yamaha baby grand piano, model G1, was purchased new in the 1980s and is ready for a new home. At 5'3" in length, it is large enough to provide a full and robust tone while occupying a relatively small footprint. It could quite possibly be the ideal professional-grade piano for a home setting. It's a very satisfying musical instrument, with a characteristically Yamaha tone: Crisp and clear, but with a deep and resonant bass that provides ample body. Handsome polished ebony cabinet.
With the comparable Japan-made Yamaha baby grand (the model C1X) selling new for over $36,000, you'll appreciate the tremendous value afforded by this piano. It's not to be confused with the more entry-level Yamahas commonly available on the new piano market in this size range.
