Own a performance-class piano for less!

This Kawai 6'9'' semi-concert grand piano, Model GS-60, is a great opportunity to own a world-class performance instrument at a fraction of the cost of the comparable new piano.  Originally built in 1992, this handsome Kawai is ready to be played by a pianist of any skill level; it will be a satisfying practice or performance instrument for years to come. Plus, the included PianoDisc player system opens an amazing world of entertainment possibilities.

Compare to the current GX-5.

The Kawai GS-60 was Kawai's highest-grade production grand piano of its size at the time of its manufacture, comparable to today's GX-5.

A fantastic instrument!

Musically speaking, this Kawai GS-60 compares very favorably to other similar instruments in its size range, especially with the Yamaha C6 or C7.  It has all of the power and fullness one would expect of a large grand piano, but with a nuanced, lyrical quality not always encountered in similarly-sized Yamaha grand pianos.

A legacy of fine piano-making.

Founded in 1927 by Japan's first piano-maker Koichi Kawai, Kawai Musical Instruments is widely regarded within the piano community as one of the world's finest production piano builders. They are equal (if not superior) to Yamaha's Japan-made pianos in terms of build quality, durability, longevity, and musicality.

The Kawai GS series was the topmost performance grade piano line manufactured by Kawai in the 1980s and early 1990s (like the current GX series) The GS-60 is comparable in design, durability, and reputation to the Yamaha C6 or C7. Attention to detail separates Kawai pianos from the other makers. It is truly one of the world's finest pianos.

It plays itself!

We'll upgrade the existing PianoDisc system on this piano to the new PianoDisc Prodigy II player system prior to delivery, included in the price of this piano.  Amaze your friends and guests as they watch your piano play itself with real moving keys and vocal/instrumental accompaniment.  The control box seen in the video and photos will be removed during this upgrade.

100% invisible with no control box or cables to work with, Prodigy communicates via Bluetooth to stream music wirelessly from any compatible device.  Just download the free PianoDisc iQ Player app from the App Store and you'll be ready to go.
